An introduction to Biotechnology

An introduction to Biotechnology

Lactose-free is a comment tag which has foundered many food packets these days lactose as we are aware of is a natural sugar located in milk however why we get rid of lactose it is due to the fact many people have an odd intolerance in the direction of this natural sugar alternatively lactose-free products however no longer a choice till a few years back it is all feasible now due to the advancements in the field of biotechnology that beneficial products like lactose-free consumables and many more can be produced.
So what exactly is biotechnology, properly it is described as the utilization of organisms or a part of the organism or any biological system for the benefit of mankind for example we understand how bread is made the dough is brought with the organisms like yeast which help in releasing sure chemicals the reactions finally give us the tender and fluffy loaf on baking here we've used yeast organism to obtain the product of our activity so do we imply that bread making is a part of biotechnology properly form of processes like fermentation are viewed as a part of classical biotechnology as they encompass the utilization of organisms consequently acquiring products for human advantage like food items drug treatments hybrid plants and so on are all viable due to biotechnology does there are several functions of biotechnology.

Now let's have a appear at a few examples to apprehend how extensive the field is let's also apprehend how an organism or a section of it or some strategies can be used to harvest essential products for mankind let's take examples of white production hepatitis B vaccine synthesis and Golden Rice manufacturing let's have a appear at every in my view now wine is generally made from the grapes how can grapes which are fruits get converted to a beverage like wine nicely this is the place the microorganism named yeast comes into play it feeds on the sugars current in the grape juice and releases alcohol and carbon dioxide as byproducts right here a entire organism is used for the processing of grape juice and to convert it into wine this was once the first section of the definition the 2nd part of the definition states that a section of the organism can be used so how can that be carried out for this let's have a appear at the application of biotechnology in the area of medicine well the emergence of biotechnology has been nothing less than a boon for the scientific industry the entirety ranging from vaccines to gene therapy has raised the requirements of healthy living.

Now let's take hepatitis B vaccine as an instance this vaccine has a recombinant version until now hepatitis B vaccine was developed from the blood of the people who were already suffering from hepatitis B however this was once very painful for the sufferers as the quantity of blood required for vaccine production was once too excessive so extracting some unique quantity of blood of the infected person was very excruciating and as the vaccine was once derived immediately from the patient's body there should be negative reactions in the receiving candidate with the improvement of biotechnology more recent vaccines that are artificial in nature started out getting produced on the comparable lines the commercially handy hepatitis B vaccine is now being synthetically made by using a small phase of the pathogenic virus it is additionally recognized as recombinant hepatitis B vaccine and research have proven that getting infected with hepatitis B is almost impossible if a person is injected with recombinant hepatitis B vaccine is not this a miracle it is equal this is additionally acknowledged as the first anti-cancer vaccine and why so due to the fact it's established that the vaccine helps in reducing the chances of developing liver cancer.

This is one instance of how aside from any organism can be used for product development now that we've got glanced at the two examples of the application of biotechnology let's move in advance to the 1/3 on the remaining part of the definition referred to the use of a technique let's take the Golden Rice as a third example is the rice made of gold no truly not then why is it called Golden Rice well the rice we typically see is whitish in coloration, on the other hand, the golden rice we speak me about is a modified model which is yellowish as a result to identify golden rice but what makes this rice yellowish and so important it's the presence of beta-carotene in the rice and what is that beta-carotene is a red-orange colored pigment which receives transformed to nutrition A in the human body.

We all be aware of the significance of this vitamin it is most imperative for the development and protection of excellent vision the deficiency of nutrition A causes vision associated troubles and malnutrition any concept why was only rice chosen for amendment that was once the staple diet for a majority of the populace in the areas affected with nutrition A deficiency was once rice so to limit the deficiency this range of rice was once developed the change of rice was finished via exploiting a organic system making it a basic instance of biotechnological achievements this variety of rice falls beneath the category of genetically modified organisms abbreviated as GMOs.

Consciousness Beyond Life

Consciousness Beyond Life

The Science of Life After Death Pim van Lommel Introduction All science is empirical, all theory is subject to perception; a single fact can disprove the whole system. Frederick van Eeden In cardiac resuscitation, a signal is triggered anxiety. On a monitor showing patient's electrocardiogram myocardial infarction - a straight line.

He's in cardiac arrest. Two nurses rush to the patient who is no longer reacts, and quickly close the curtains around his bunk. One sister starts to cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the other puts the mask on the patient's face and supplies oxygen. The third nurse hurriedly brings up the "resuscitation cart" with a defibrillator. It is loaded, on the "irons" applied gel, the patient's chest is exposed, all medical the staff removed their hands from the patient and his bed are being defibrillated.

Electricity is applied to the patient's chest discharge. No effect. Cardiac massage and artificial respiration resume, after consultation with a physician a dropper is administered additional medication. Then defibrillation is carried out a second time. This time the heart rate is restored, and in a little over a minute, having spent approximately four minutes, the patient comes in themselves, much to the relief of the nurses and present doctor. I was the doctor present. That year my internship in cardiology began. Everyone rejoiced at the successful resuscitation - except patient. Despite being brought back to life, he to everyone's amazement, was extremely disappointed. He said something about a tunnel, different colors, light, beautiful scenery and music. And he was extremely excited.

The term "/near-death experience/" (NDE) in that time did not yet exist, and I never heard for people to remember stop your own heart. During my studies, I learned that such memories, in fact, absolutely impossible: to be unconscious means not realize anything and this applies to patients with stop heart or in a coma. At such times it is impossible to be aware of, nor to remember anything, since the functioning the brain stops completely. In the event of cardiac arrest, the patient is unconscious, not breathing, he has no pulse and pressure. Near death experience in the hospital The first cardiac intensive care units in the Netherlands hospitals were opened in 1966 when massage hearts, application of oxygen and defibrillation were recognized as effective measures in case of cardiac arrest in patients. Cardiac arrest was and remains the most common cause of death in patients with acute myocardial infarction: in the USA one person dies from it every minute, in the UK, about one every two minutes.

In the Netherlands, about Since implementation began modern methods of resuscitation and creation of cardioreanimation departments, death due to stop hearts plummeted and nowadays patient survival despite stopping heart is a common occurrence. Working as a cardiologist, I almost daily encountered with death. It is impossible to be a doctor and not think about emotional, philosophical and physiological aspects of life and death. But of particular relevance are such reflections acquired only after the death of one of family members is reflected in the doctor. In my case it happened when my mother died at the age of sixty-two, and my brother at forty-one. Although I will forever remember the successfully resuscitated in 1969 the patient and his memories of the stopping period hearts, there was no use for this experience – until 1986

Misconceptions about Solar Energy

Misconceptions about Solar Energy

How important is energy in our life, we are using energy from the morning to evening, every time energy is used and the need of energy is increasing every day and because we have to import energy, energy security is also there. here is also a discussion about sustainable development and energy access. These all are the different boundary conditions of energy that are constant.
Why not we all use solar energy? And it's normal that everyone wants to use solar energy. But we also know, even after so many promotions, after so many policies solar energy is limited in use or common people not use solar energy. So what is the reason? It has many misconceptions due to which solar energy is not used by the masses. This is the misconception that lasted 10-15 years ago but due to advancements in technology, this is no longer true, but it is still in the mind of people. So in this series, I will explain all the misconceptions one by one and try to clear all the misconceptions.

So, Let’s start the first misconception For the promotion of solar energy, it is important to enhance the efficiency of solar energy or the efficiency of solar photovoltaic technology. Do you think like that, I think a lot of people think like that but if we look in detail, then we find that this is not true. To compare we need a to have a comparison point. For example, let’s compare it with a natural process which is the photosynthesis process. Photosynthesis is the process by which plants produce their own food ‘carbohydrate’ by using solar energy.

You will be surprised to know that the efficiency of many plants is not more than 0.5-0.1% Some of the plants are fast-growing plants that can use as an energy crop for producing biomass having 4-5% efficiency. So when we compare this efficiency to solar modules which are commercially available, having 15,16,17,18%, there is no problem of efficiency. Let’s compare it with the efficiency of a coal power plant, nuclear or hydropower plant, so when we talk about efficiency, the efficiency in between the input and the electricity output of coal it is important to know what’s the efficiency in between the whole process.

We all know that coal is not present in every country, many countries import coal India also import coal and in India 70% of electricity is generated from coal. And the first to import the coal is coming from mines then transport to the power plant by ship or rail where it is burned, having an efficiency of 30-35% runs the turbine and generator and producing the high voltage which transfers to the large transmission lines of transformer where it is step down then transmitted and again it is step down and at last with the help of distribution transformer it is sent to the homes. The whole process involves 8-10% efficiency, as I already told the solar modules which are commercially available having efficiencies of 15, 16, 17, 18 %, in fact, there are solar modules which are a little bit costly but their efficiencies are nearly 20-22% . At the laboratory level, scientists make the more efficient solar modules which are single-junction silicon solar cells having efficiency of 25-26%, they made thin-film silicon cell, gallium arsenide based solar cell and also multi-junction solar cells, having efficiencies of 45-46% and also demonstrated it.

So I would like to conclude that we do not use solar energy because of its high efficiency, it is used because all the resources have low efficiency in comparison to solar cells. So if you do not use solar energy because of efficiency, firstly you have to change your mindset and use solar energy. Scientists are trying to make it more efficient and make advancements for increasing its efficiency. But do not think that we should wait for efficiencies to increase. There is a change in climatic conditions, increasing energy demand and dependency on other countries for energy. Seeing all these conditions and the increased efficiency of solar modules, I feel we can should start using solar energy immediately.

High-speed internet via Dish Antenna

High-speed internet to India via Dish Antenna? Terrified telecom companies approach Troy with SpaceX...

SpaceX's Starlink mission has also approached India to provide the fastest internet in the world, according to a new report. Elon Musk's SpaceX team has approached the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India for permission. It is expected that more details will be released soon The system will be able to bring the internet to any village in the country. Early reports suggest that the Starlink satellite internet is fast becoming better. According to users who have been in beta testing, the StarLink of SpaceX is the best.

SpaceX, an American aerospace company owned by Elon Musk, has requested the Indian government to allow India to use satellite broadband technologies. The move is aimed at expanding SpaceX's satellite internet system, Starlink, to India. In a filing with the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), SpaceX expressed interest in introducing Starlink in India. The company also said it plans to deploy satellites for continuous Starlink coverage across India by the end of 2021.

Patricia Cooper, vice president of satellite government affairs space, told Troy Consultation that updated laws, policies and regulations for new technologies such as startlinks need to be considered. But SpaceX's latest move is a major threat to the country's telecom companies. The current telecom market is sure to collapse as everyone gets access to high-speed internet without cables and towers. Weeks ago, test kits for SpaceX's satellite Internet service began to reach users in the United States. Many report that the service is too fast. Starlink is a game-changer that previously had a speed of 0.5-12mb / s (Mbps). One test user said he was currently getting 100-160Mb / s. Lucky customers who have been invited to the Starlink public beta are using the net by installing satellite dish systems in their homes. All of them are posting the testing report on Twitter and Reddit.

Another user said that Starlink is streaming 1440p and 4K video on YouTube with zero buffering. Another user reported that his connection had gone above 174 Mbps. This is probably the highest download speed through Starlink. At the same time, the latency averages 33 milliseconds, which is equivalent to a basic Internet service. Another user successfully tested Starlink Internet in the woods outside the cell phone range. The service is working well. Made a live video call from the forest and did some other experiments. At the same time, in some places, the Internet connection is causing problems. Preliminary reports suggest that this may be due to satellite coverage. Currently, only the SpaceX800 satellites have been launched to strengthen Starlink. The aim is to launch more satellites to get higher internet speeds and reduce latency. The global launch of Starling is expected to take place next year.

The Internet is provided with the help of small dish antennas placed on terraces and buildings. Images of such dish antennas are already going viral on Twitter. It was revealed on Twitter what a Starlink broadband connection would look like.
Many people around the world want to sign up for the SpaceX Starlink beta testing program. They are curious to know how to sign up for SpaceX Starlink Internet and what are the locations under the SpaceX Starlink beta areas. However, more details about this may come out soon. The Starlink website is now inviting people to check if Sky Internet service is available in their area. All they have to do is enter the email address and zip code If a person wants to apply for the Starlink beta testing program, they need to apply for updates to gain access to the public beta test of the Starlink service. If the applicant is invited for a beta test, the company will provide a user terminal with a self-directed flat dish antenna for better satellite signals. According to reports, users will have to enter their full address via email once they are selected as a SpaceX Starlink beta partner. It will then provide the tools and other services needed to access the Internet.

According to a report on beta published on Reddit, Starlink Internet's beta testing is currently only available in the United States and Canada. Starlink's satellite system can currently only provide internet service at 44 degrees to 52 degrees north latitude. It is known that at least 1000 satellites will be required to provide full service.

The remarkable "Cartwheel Galaxy"

The remarkable "Cartwheel Galaxy"

You are familiar with the concept of galaxies. We ourselves live in a galaxy called Milky Way. There are several hundred billion stars in it. It is spiral-shaped so it's called a spiral galaxy. Likewise, there are other elliptical-shaped galaxies and we call them elliptical galaxies. And there are some, which are neither spiral nor elliptical we call them irregular galaxies such as our neighbor’ Large Magellanic clouds’.
The above Picture is the Cartwheel galaxy. Its prominent feature is a ring. These types of galaxies are called ring galaxies. How did these galaxies form? There is a surprising story to it. You can learn about it. If you take a stone and drop it into a lake, astronomers think this Cartwheel galaxy was formed the same way as ripples are formed in the lake. This is Kainati Gup Shup (Cosmic Chit Chat) and I am Salman Hameed. The Cartwheel galaxy is 500m light-years away from us. In a sense, it is very far but compared to the width of the universe, astronomers call it a nearby galaxy. This is a picture taken by the Hubble Telescope. You can see a blue ring that dominates the picture. These are actually new stars (the blue ones) and most of them are included in this ring. The diameter of the ring is 150,000 light-years. You can fit our Milky Way galaxy easily in this.

The Cartwheel galaxy was discovered by astronomer Fritz Zwicky in 1941. I always show his picture definitely because he was an extraordinary character as well as a remarkable astronomer. When Fritz Zwicky saw the Cartwheel galaxy he said in English ‘This is one of the most complicated structures in the universe and in reality, this is an incredible thing, this is a galaxy in which new stars are forming in the ring. In between, there is a spiral-type structure but in that, there are mostly old stars. This is inverse in a sense because usually there are new stars in the spiral arms. This is a big puzzle, how was the cartwheel galaxy formed? Now in this picture by the Hubble telescope you are seeing two other small galaxies with the cartwheel galaxy.

One is a small spiral galaxy that is yellow i.e. it mostly has old stars and alongside is another irregular galaxy that has blue stars meaning there are mostly new stars there. So how was the Cartwheel galaxy formed? Astronomers think this is a result of a collision. Actually, the astronomers think that the cartwheel galaxy, in the beginning, was a spiral galaxy but about 300M years before another small galaxy passed exactly through its center, and because of its passing through when the shock waves compressed the gases, the stars were formed in the shape of a ring. This is just like when you throw a small stone into a lake or drop it in water the ripples start moving away in a circular form. Similarly, the astronomers think that when this small Galaxy passed through the disturbance (the shock waves) compressed the gas and dust and because of that compression, new stars were formed. The ring you are seeing is the place where new stars were formed due to compression.

In fact, there are 200 billion stars in the ring of the cartwheel galaxy. This is a computer simulation of the formation of the cartwheel galaxy. In this, we have compressed several million years into a few seconds. This is a small galaxy colliding with the cartwheel type spiral galaxy and slowly this small galaxy passed through it. it’s own shape changed but the ripples in the gas were in circular form and this is the place where the ring was formed. This was about the past of the cartwheel galaxy. The question is what is the future of the cartwheel galaxy? If you see the picture by the Hubble telescope closely you see spokes-type things. There are some lines in the rings that are connected to the central area. It means that a lot of stars have started forming in the middle also.

Astronomers think that in a little time (a little time means several billion years) this cartwheel galaxy will reform its spiral structure. Meaning after this collision, this ring formation (all a temporary phase) will become a spiral galaxy again. You can raise the question that whether our own Milky Way galaxy (which is a spiral galaxy) passed through this ring phase or did it have this type of collision in the past or not. We do not have evidence of that. The assumption is this type of Collision did not take place in the Milky Way but it happened in other galaxies because you require a specific type of orientation for this. The Galaxy must pass right through the center and we think no such collision took place in the Milky Way, but the Milky Way is not an innocent galaxy because it has devoured many small galaxies and is gobbling up more.

In fact, these large Magellanic clouds (please see the video about the Magellanic clouds) will at some time merge into the Milky Way. But who is the prime suspect of the cartwheel galaxy? Which galaxy passed through its center? For a long time, astronomers thought that out of the two galaxies near it (the yellow one and the blue one) one passed through it but when it was studied in detail both provided some problems and some challenges. it did not look like they were responsible. Now astronomers know there is a third galaxy which is 300,000 light-years away. And you remember the interaction also took place about three lac years before so it is assumed that this Galaxy passed through this cartwheel galaxy due to which this ring structure was formed. But is there any evidence of it present or not. Yes, an astronomer got a smoking gun evidence when they saw it in hydrogen gas.

You are seeing an image here from a distance of the cartwheel galaxy and in this, you can see some contours these contours are of hydrogen gas and you see they link the cartwheel galaxy all the way to that third Galaxy. And this hydrogen gas (this type of signature) tell us if there has been an interaction in the past, These galaxies drag this gas and the signatures remain for a long time. These hydrogen bridges or tails are used by astronomers to find out this type of interaction. We now know this third Galaxy was responsible for passing through this cartwheel galaxy. This is an amazing thing. This image by the Hubble telescope is one of my favorite images. This interaction takes several hundred million years to reach this shape but the amazing thing is humans, small creatures on this earth can find out the history of these interactions. We can tell how this ring structure (which took several hundred million years to make) was formed and how did the galaxy passed through it.

Science cannot explain finding the pyramids of Mexico

Science cannot explain finding the pyramids of Mexico

Our education, which, in fact, did not sculpt any images, stuffed a lot of stable clichés into our heads. As soon as we hear a word, a picture from the table of world perception immediately appears in our head. This table is crammed with false concepts that the school placed there, and then the institute. In order to live normally, you need to fill this table with the right concepts, but this can only be done by clearing it of old definitions and images.

Consider a word like "mica". Memory helpfully slips that mica is a mineral consisting of several types. For example, muscovite was used for glazing window frames in houses. It was believed that glass in those days was of poor quality, so mica was used everywhere. Large deposits are known in Karelia, in Aldan and Slyudyanka, which is located on the shores of Lake Baikal. Of course, mica in the open air lost its transparency, but it could be peeled off to increase the passage of light through the window. Well, where without pluses. The children threw a stone at the window and made a hole. Do not be upset, the hole can be sewn up with another piece of mica. True, in all the old photographs of cities, we see windows with glass.

Therefore, it is very difficult to determine the period when real glass replaced mica. There are references to the use of mica in ancient Egypt. It was added to the paint for the eyelids, and was also used in the embalming of dead people. It seems that the ancient Egyptians were only engaged in embalming corpses and building storage facilities for them. Then, from 1914, mica began to be used in technical devices, which led to its widespread use. This was facilitated by the property of mica as a good dielectric. We all know that it was in the radio-electronic industry that this property was most widely demanded. Particularly in capacitors. That seems to be the whole official history of the use of mica. They started with balms for the dead and small windows and ended with radio electronics. Everything is logical, from small to large. After all, people used to be dumber than they are now. And we have the 21st century, not some 15th century. In a word, progress.

One can be proud, looking at a smartphone, of our advanced science and advanced civilization. And we are proud until in the same smartphone we come across information about the Mica Temple, which is located 350 meters from the Pyramid of the Sun in Teotihuacan. Of course, archaeologists went too far with that name. The word "temple" evokes completely different associations. Something like a huge building for the administration of religious needs. And here are just a few rooms located along the Road of the Dead. But there is one feature - this is a drainage channel, above which there are two layers of mica. Moreover, the analysis showed that this mica was delivered from Brazil, over 4000 kilometers. This arrangement of mica layers definitely did not fulfill a decorative function. That is, it is a purely technical construction. On the one hand, this mica could serve as an insulator for the liquid flowing through the channel. Maybe from external radiation, or maybe vice versa, it protected the outer surface from liquid radiation, as at nuclear power plants.

It's hard to guess. But after all, in the Pyramid of the Sun itself in 1906, in the upper tier, a seven-centimeter layer of mica was also found. True, L. Bartres, the head of archaeological work, got this mica and sold it, due to its high commercial value. Still, a relative of the President of Mexico, he can do anything. But the fact remains. The Pyramid of the Sun also had a layer of mica, which was clearly not placed there for beauty. And the location of this layer excluded protection from any radiation. But, this layer could be placed to fine-tune the resonance of the pyramid. To understand this better, let's look at the properties of mica. We know from the school course that mica is a dielectric that does not pass current. And when we were told the properties of dielectrics, they showed us a stick with a very funny, for the whole class, name - ebonite. She was rubbed with a woolen mitten. After that, the wand attracted pieces of paper to itself. But, it turns out that the dielectric itself accumulates a charge. Experiments were also carried out with mica. A layer of mica was placed between two electrodes that were charged. In principle, this is the same capacitor.

Then, these metal electrodes were changed to others, without charge. But, when measured, the charge remained the same. It turns out that the charge of the capacitor is not located on the electrodes. The mica itself accumulates the charge. Electricians know that certain types of capacitors pick upcharge on their own, straight out of the atmosphere. Therefore, when transporting and storing them, it is necessary to short-circuit the electrodes in order to avoid an accident. In the 30s of the last century, Navy engineer Thomas Townsend-Brown, who studied the properties of dielectric minerals, in conditions as isolated as possible from all possible influences, including in underground laboratories, unexpectedly discovered the periodic appearance of a spontaneous charge in them. This charge was small, but it seemed to come from "out of nowhere". At the same time, as the potential increased, the stones became a source of incomprehensible radio frequency “noise”. The cyclic nature of the oscillations led the researcher to suggest that they are associated with planetary and stellar cycles, and were caused by the interaction of the mass of the dielectric with the gravitational fields of the Earth, Sun, Moon and planets. According to the scientist, "it looked as if the rocks on Earth were pumping energy from space." The greater the mass of the dielectric, the stronger it "pumped" energy.

These radiations were not electromagnetic in nature. They were also not like light, heat, radio waves, x-rays or gamma rays. They did not have an ionizing effect. They were not affected by the Earth's magnetic field or atmospheric conditions. Their penetrating power was so high that until today it is not possible to determine its boundaries. The physicists involved in the research suggested that these rays are a stream of charge-neutral particles coming to Earth from everywhere. In one form or another, studies of spontaneous potential continued by the Townsend-Brown Foundation until the 1970s in various parts of the globe. Only in recent decades, with the advent of the concept of gravitational waves in scientific circles, has it become possible to make an assumption about their nature. Gravitational radiation is a whole spectrum that is not inferior to the electromagnetic one, they penetrate the Earth from all directions. There is evidence that these extremely penetrating waves come at their strongest from centers of gravity, including our galactic center. Why some materials have a greater ability to "intercept" these radiations and transform them into other forms of electrical energy and radio frequency "noise" energy is unknown. But some types of stones are really a kind of energy converters received from the surrounding space.

Townsend-Brown suggested that this process is similar to the conversion of light into electricity, as in a photocell. And another important observation was made by Townsend-Brown. The frequencies of the waves to which each type of stone is “tuned” differ from each other. Therefore, the stone reacts only to that part, from a very wide spectrum of radiation coming from space, with which it has a resonance. It can be compared to a radio tuned to a certain wave. This scientist is also known for his inventions, which he made based on observations of capacitors, which had a driving force due to the presence of a large charge. In 1945, in Hawaii, at Pearl Harbor, Brown demonstrated the operation of flying discs operating on this principle to Admiral W. Radford, commander-in-chief of the US Pacific Fleet. After that, all his developments were classified. The Pyramid of the Sun is built of clay and stones. This is a huge mass of dielectric, but, perhaps, it did not give the desired resonance, or the resonance was too scattered, so the “receiver-repeater” was strengthened by placing a massive layer of an even better dielectric - mica, which, moreover, is capable of accumulating a charge. It is also possible that, in this way, precisely those vibrations that were needed for the function of the pyramid as a harmonizer supporting organic life were singled out from a wide spectrum .

These vibrations, in turn, were transmitted to a more dynamic energy-information carrier - water, which flowed around the Pyramid of the Sun, and was also collected in special reservoirs in the Mica Temple. So the water became alive, saturating plants and people with harmonic vibrations. And these are not the only pyramids where mica was found. Around the pyramidal temple of Abu Gorab in Memphis, large pieces of mica were found, as well as nine reservoirs of "unknown purpose". There is a relationship between the properties of mica and water. And the Mica Temple in Teotihuacan cannot be considered separately. It is part of a huge technological complex, including the pyramids of the Sun, the Moon, and the Road of the Dead, which, judging by the footprints on the surface, was a large channel. If you look at the channels around the pyramids of Teotihuacan, the tunnels under the pyramids themselves, as well as the drainage channel in the Mica Temple, you can clearly see that the main active ingredient of this complex was water. Apparently, flowing first through the tunnels under the pyramids, and then around them, the water acquired some properties.

Subsequently, under the protection of two layers of mica, through the drainage channel of the Mica Temple, it fell into reservoirs from which it was possible to draw this charged water. Remember living and dead water from fairy tales. Apparently, this was living water, which had a life-giving effect on people and plants. No wonder the Aztecs, who found this place, called it Teotihuacan - the city where people become gods. Apparently, the complex was still functioning. But over time, the water left, since the Aztecs themselves did not know the principle of Teotihuacan, so they turned it into a religious building. They began to carry out bloody rites and sacrifices. But initially, the real builders of this technological complex erected all this, pursuing many goals, where the improvement of water is just an additional bonus to all the possibilities of this grandiose structure.
